RUINS OF ST. PAUL’S
Ruins of St. Paul’s is one of the top tourist attractions in Macau. East Asia's largest catholic church has 5 floors and is built of granite with walls covered with bas-reliefs of different types.
As one of the most famous places in Macau, Senado Square is bustling with tourists and locals making it one of the most interesting and fun places in Macau. This is also an important World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO.
There are many European architectural buildings, parks and fountains in this area. Festivals and events are also often held here. If you happen to be at Senado Square on any special day like the Lunar New Year, you will admire the brilliant fireworks display along with dragon and unicorn dance, etc.
Venetian the Vegas which is a Venice-themed place is one of the most stylish destinations with Italian inspiration in Macau. Macau Tower is an important highlight of the city, known for its magnificent structure. Built by Gordon Moller, this beautiful architecture (338 m high) is one of the great places to visit in Macau.
The tower has an observation deck, a lounge, a cinema, a coffee shop, a rotating floor and interesting entertainment activities. This is also the second-highest bungee jumping place in the world.
Located near the maritime port, Fishermans wharf is a shopping center and a theme park designed according to the Euramerican fisherman's jetty. The wharf has three specific parts: Dynasty Wharf, East Meets West and Legend Wharf. It features underwater performances and a video game center, Ramphitheater, an artificial volcano and a man-made waterfall, model warships and a children's playing area.
CITY OF DREAMS
Located in Cotai, City of Dreams is a high-tech and very popular entertainment area among Macau tourist destinations. Nightlife in the City of Dreams is wonderful with sparkling casinos, brilliant discos, chic pubs, exquisite clubs, great live performances, stylish rooms and many restaurants offering high-end cuisine and a brand shopping system.
Just a few steps from the famous Macaus casino system is the traditional village of Taipa, which is one of the best-preserved areas of the city. This village reflects the cultural aspect through historical buildings, museums, galleries, and shops that have existed since ancient times. It is decorated with beautiful pedestrian paths.
Located in Cotai region of Macau, Studio City is a resort, a hotel, and a casino. This luxurious studio resort integrates television, movie production facilities and video games. With Art Deco design, Studio City has many different attractions to enjoy.
Coloane Island is a beautiful destination where there are many historical attractions. It also has fine local eateries with many delicious and attractive dishes. There are also many souvenir shops where you can buy a few affordable handmade souvenirs.
Sitting on an adventurous cable car will allow you to fly through deep forests and rocks millions of years old. Thrill lovers will not be able to ignore this place. The cable car trip begins at the foot of Machicang Hill and makes a 1700-meter journey at a height of over 700 m.
LOU LIM IOC BOTANICAL GARDEN
This beautiful garden was built by a local resident in 1906. It is one of the most famous places in Macau and is designed after the famous garden of Suzhou. You can have moments of leisurely relaxation and sightseeing here.
