Sleeping less than 6 hours a day and the health risks you face

Many people often think less sleep helps the body lose weight. However, this is the reason why you gain weight out of control. The reason is that cortisol produces more when you don't get enough sleep. Besides, staying up late increases hunger and appetite, leading to the risk of more eating and drinking. Researchers have revealed that people who sleep less than 6 hours a night are twice as likely to gain weight as people who get enough sleep.

According to scientific studies, when you lose sleep or not get enough sleep, your brain will be affected. Specifically, lack of sleep makes you feel tired, slow down the cognitive process and brain activities. If this happens often, you lose your ability and alertness to solve the problems.
