Tiguan – The sales star of Volkswagen

In June 2019, Volkswagen sold 542,300 vehicles worldwide, up by 1.6% from the same period last year. This is also the best-selling brand in Volkswagen Group which owns many cult brands such as Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Volkswagen.

In January 2019, the 5 millionth Tiguan left the factory in Wolfsburg (Germany). The small model has been on the market since 2007. The current model is the second generation produced in 2016. If Tiguan was originally sold only in traditional European markets, Allspace will be available in Europe, North America, and Asia. Like the name Allspace, the new version offers additional interior space and third-row seats, turning the car into 7 seats. Folding this row of seats down creates a large luggage compartment for the family.

In the familiar markets of the Volkswagen brand such as Europe, North America or China, Tiguan Allspace becomes a consideration of the majority. From the start of delivery in July 2018 to June 2019, there were 800 units sold.

- The driver screen is a digital 12.3-inch display for a quality resolution of 1,440 x 540 pixels, showing a variety of information such as fuel consumption, speed, distance, driver assistance information, maps, phone contacts, images, song titles integrated with entertainment screens, etc.

- Parking assistance with integrated automatic parking (Park Assist) including options of perpendicular or parallel parking. The vehicle will automatically steer and instruct the driver to perform the shift, throttle, and brake when there is a signal.

- And the 360-degree Area View with a 3D display which can be adjusted arbitrarily to help the driver get to know the surroundings through Bird Eyes view.

Volkswagen wants to provide customers with high quality, safety, and many utility technologies, but the amount of money that customers have to pay is affordable.
